Eligibility Criteria for CTET Latest Update 2024
1. Educational Qualification:
- For Paper-I (to teach classes I to V):
- Candidates should have completed their Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) can also apply.
- For Paper-II (to teach classes VI to VIII):
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
- Those who have completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a minimum of 50% marks are also eligible.
