As Per the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 Notification , initial salary for a General Duty Constable is Rs. 23,527 per month, with a starting basic pay of Rs. 21,700. The maximum basic pay can reach up to Rs. 69,100.

SSC GD Constable Selection Process
The SSC GD Constable recruitment process is a multiple Levels . It includes a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a Medical Test. Successful candidates proceed to document verification after the medical test.

- The computer based examination will be of 160 marks consisting of 80 questions.
