Software engineering is a core discipline at F5 for many roles. As a software engineer specializing in test automation, you will bring software engineering and automated solution mindset to your work.
As a SDET-I, you will be responsible for incorporating engineering best practices in your work on test infrastructure, test strategy, test automation and test plans for applications, services and delivery infrastructure.
What You’ll Do in f5 Freshers Jobs in Hyderabad
- Participate in the definition and peer review of testing requirements with guidance.
- Partner with your teammates and develop test plans and cases.
- Guided execution of tests and analyze the results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Mostly manual testing with progression into automated testing, as needed
- Learn and participate in integration of automated tests to the delivery pipelines.
- Learn and participate in discussions to ensure that the testing infrastructure is performant, scalable, and maintainable.
- Contribute to the documentation of the best development practices and ensure the documentation is up-to date.
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience
- 0-2 years engineering experience in software engineering with a recent focus on automated test design and implementation.
- Experience testing of quoting tools preferred.
- Experience manual testing, preferably in the quote to order transactional flow
- Basic programming abilities in at least 1 high level programming language preferred
