- Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 31.12.2023):
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally
subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023. - Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical,
Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant etc. would also be eligible.

SBI Latest Recruitment SEP 2023 Selection Procedure
The selection process for Probationary Officers consists of three phases:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
The preliminary examination is an online test consisting of 100 objective questions. It covers three sections with separate timings for each section:
- English Language (30 questions)
- Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions)
- Reasoning Ability (35 questions)
The total duration for this test is 1 hour.
Phase-II: Main Examination
The main examination is also conducted online and consists of two parts:
(i) Objective Test:
- Duration: 3 hours
- Sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language
- Total Questions: 155
- Maximum Marks: 200
(ii) Descriptive Paper:
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Sections: English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
- Total Marks: 50
Phase-III: Group Exercise & Interview
Candidates who qualify in Phase-II will be called for Phase-III, which includes group exercises and an interview. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in Phase-II and Phase-III.
